To Know, Worship and Serve God
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2Upcoming Events

Ponder & Prayer Wednesday Evenings at 7:00PM
Join us for a time of prayer & devotion, as we discuss what that Bible says about prayer. And how God wants us to apply prayer to our lives daily.
We are studying worship... Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only! Matthew 4:10
Did you know that worship is a lifestyle? How do you worship? Worship is the essential and central act of the church...
The divine priority is worship if we worship first everything else will follow... God is the first priority of the Church. Not people. Not Ministry. Not Growth.
God and God alone occupies the place of ultimate and absolute priority in the church. - Bruce K Leafbald Recovering the Priority of God
Sermon Recap:
Philippians 4:4-7 Chaos and Conflict in our lives at
times are because of poor decisions we made,
we complain and we complain we say I "just need to be left alone I need "peace" When you hear the word "peace" What thought comes to mind?
Maybe the dove on the Christmas banner on your neighbors house, quiet time at your kitchen table or the more common worlds peace symbol.
Regardless of what you may think of when the word peace comes to mind. We are here to tell you there is only one true and perfect peace that' s "God's Perfect Peace"
God's Peace is received and experienced as we do the following:
1. Maintain an Attitude of Rejoicing. The Bible says "Rejoice in the Lord Always, Again I say Rejoice." This is something that needs to be done in order to receive God's Peace in it's fullest.
There is always reason for the Christian to REJOICE IN THE LORD. If for no other reason, God is God, and we are His in Christ. Rejoice Always! In everything. A complaining disgruntled spirit
cannot receive God's peace. This is not a polly-anna dismissal of the difficulties and pain of life. It is rather the deliberate choice to rejoice in the Lord regardless of life's circumstances.
2. Maintain a Healthy Relationship with others. "Let your gentleness be evident to all." You can not be in good relationship with the Lord, and be in a bad relationship with others!
As is with: "OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD is directly correlated with our relationship with others."
3. Maintain a God Consciousness. "God is Near. Did you know that the Lord is near? "Where can we go to flee from the Spirit?" No where. Our Lord is always near.
He never leaves nor forsakes. We need to be conscious of this magnificent reality. He is near, at home, when I'm driving, when I am walking...
4. Maintain a Healthy Consistent Prayer Life. "Worry about Nothing, Pray about Everything." Live your Life an the Attitude of Prayer. Nothing is to trivial to talk to God about.
After you have applied all of these ingredients to your Life. Then The Promise of God's Peace which transcends All your understanding will Guard your heart and mind In Jesus Christ.
